Malta Island
Malta Island which is situated in the Mediterranean Sea amidst Italy and Libya is the largest of the Maltese chain of islands. Filled with ancient architecture the Malta islands stands as a symbol of ancient mythologies and is popularly known as open museum. The main tourists places to visit are the Megalithic temples especially il-Ggantija in Gozo, the oldest free standing structure dating back to 3500 BC, medieval dungeons and Calypso’s Cave. The ancient streets of its towns and villages are filled with grand palaces, Renaissance cathedrals and Baroque palaces. A warm sunny weather, the wide beaches, exciting clubs and nightlife, also with an interesting ancient history the Malta islands has a lot to offer to its tourists.
Greek islands
Greek islands is a cluster of over thousand traditionally grouped islands. Most of the Greek islands are popular however Santorini and Crete are the most famous and preferred tourists places by artists, photographers, shoppers and many more. Santorini being the diamond of the Greek Islands has a rich amount of white sculptured villages that are piled up on sloppy volcanic cliffs and gives a blissful view of the deep blue Aegean Sea. Crete being the largest of all Greek islands has plentiful evergreen palm groves, beaches and resorts in Elounda Bay and archaeological and ancient places in Minoan city of Knossos.
Mauritius Island
Mauritius Island is a part of Mascarene Islands which is an island nation. Mauritius has a wide culturally and religiously diversified people with a blend of European, Asian and African influences. Mauritius is one of the most favorite and famous tourist destinations and mostly has a tropical climate with warm summers and dry winters. The coastal regions are mountainous areas filled with forests. Due to the extended administrative efforts of the ministry of environment the place has been well maintained to attract a lot of tourism. Faroe Islands which is a province of kingdom of Denmark is situated in the North Atlantic Ocean between Iceland and Scotland is a unique tourism destination.
